Birth With Confidence
Prepare for birth with knowledge, confidence, and practical tools. This four week childbirth education course offers a balanced, evidence based approach to understanding labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. Through conversation, visual learning, and hands-on practice, you will gain a realistic picture of what to expect and how to navigate choices with clarity and trust in your own body.
Birth partners encouraged for all sessions – this could be a spouse, doula, friend or family member who will be supporting you during labor and birth.

- How pregnancy, labor, and birth work physiologically
- Navigating the final weeks of pregnancy and early signs of labor
- Measuring change and understanding the stages of labor
- Comfort measures, movement, and partner support
- Birth in all forms, including vaginal birth and cesarean
- The immediate postpartum period and early adjustment to parenting
- Building a collaborative relationship with your birth team
Who should take this course
Childbirth education can be taken at any point in pregnancy. For most families, the third trimester is ideal, but earlier attendance is welcome. This series is appropriate for first-time parents as well as those looking for a refresher or a different perspective for a subsequent birth.
About your instructor Tara Kenny
The course is led by Tara Kenny, a Certified Professional Midwife, Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Certified Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula who has been attending births since 2000 in the Boston area and beyond. Tara brings decades of experience supporting families in homes, birth centers, and hospitals, along with a deep passion for compassionate, informed care and VBAC support. Her teaching reflects a commitment to helping families make empowered, educated choices that fit their values and needs. She is also a Body Ready Method™ Pro and Body Ready Birth™ Instructor.

Juno’s Moms’ Groups are 6-week, expertly facilitated, nonjudgmental spaces designed for moms welcoming their first child (New Moms) or growing their family with a second, third, or beyond (Seasoned Moms).
Come as you are. Sweatpants, mom buns, and fussy babies are always welcome. Together we explore the topics that matter most in early motherhood. You’ll receive evidence based guidance along with practical, nonjudgmental tools to help you feel more grounded, confident and supported.
New Mom's Groups
Juno’s New Moms’ Group is for first time moms with babies ages 0 to 6 months. This intimate community is designed to meet you exactly where you are, surrounded by women navigating this transition right alongside you.
Together we explore topics including the emotional transition into becoming a parent, partner communication and boundaries, feeding, sleep, newborn development and everything in between.
Seasoned Mom's Groups
Juno’s Seasoned Moms’ Group is for moms welcoming a second, third, or fourth+ baby (ages 0–6 months). This group is designed to support the unique transition of growing your family while fostering meaningful connection with other women who truly get it.
Together, we’ll talk openly about the realities of life with multiple children, shifting relationship dynamics, identity changes, and the ongoing process of (re)finding yourself. Nothing is off-limits and everything belongs. This is a space to be honest, supported and deeply understood as you navigate this new chapter.

About the Instructor Dr. Ariana Witkin MD
Ariana Witkin, M.D. is a board-certified pediatrician and postpartum consultant. She provides expert, holistic education and support to families and organizations so parents and babies thrive. She completed her medical training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and has been working with newborns in Boston hospitals for the past 10 years. She has also completed training in lactation/feeding support and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. She enjoys writing and has contributed to Glamour, VeryWell Family and Business Insider, amongst others. She lives outside Boston with her husband and three children.

This course is designed to give you the clear, evidence-based information that can be difficult to get during a short doctor’s visit—or to sort through online.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for anyone who is curious about perimenopause, starting to notice symptoms, deep in the experience, or even on the other side and moving through menopause. Wherever you are in the journey, this course can be for you.
The general age range tends to be around 35–50+, but everyone experiences this transition differently and on their own timeline. There are always exceptions, and all are welcome.
About the instructor Dr. Meredith Thomas
Dr. Meredith is a board-certified OB/GYN and menopause specialist who is drawn to the field by a desire to support women through life’s many transitions. As a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend, her personal lived experiences have deeply informed the compassionate, thoughtful care she provides professionally. Her approach is evidenced based and person centered, welcoming many perspectives and honoring the complexities of each person’s path. She considers it an honor to walk alongside patients through both the highs and lows of each life phase. Dr. Meredith maintains a full-scope practice in Cambridge and is excited to facilitate meaningful conversation and connection at Juno, particularly around perimenopause and the midlife transition.
